葉建興說，家裡已經養5條狗了，再收容牠真會吃不消。但媽媽的愛心、家裡的狗狗也都接納牠，於是決定給牠一個家。（沈揮勝攝）

「是誰這麼殘忍，把狗虐待至此？」魚池鄉仙楂腳聚落兩周前出現1隻右側雙腿都遭打斷，骨骼外露、淌血的流浪狗。牠用殘骨頂著地面，勉強維持瘸行能力，挨家挨戶求救、用無辜眼神企盼有人收容。80歲阿嬤黃阿幸看得不忍，把庭院騰出一隅，作為牠的容身角落。

阿嬤的兒子葉建興說，家裡已有5條狗，再增狗隻，無論是食物或活動空間，真的都會吃不消。但看牠實在太可憐，再不收容餵食，恐怕幾天就將餓死荒野。其傷勢非常嚴重，雖看得出生命力強韌，但畢竟行動力與覓食能力不足，如不及時搶救，最終還是難逃一死。

他說，除了媽媽有愛心想救牠，家中其他狗隻主動接納，也是讓牠得以順利留下的重要因素。5隻狗的帶頭老大「嘟嘟」，平時固守地盤，對於外來狗隻態度強勢，流浪狗要進入葉家庭院，根本是不可能。

但這隻流浪狗10多天前在社區兜了3圈，嘟嘟吠叫、觀察2天後，竟然放牠進來，且跟前跟後關心陪伴，連食物都任牠叼食。「或許看牠傷勢嚴重、骨瘦如柴即將餓死，出自於同類之間情愫，希望牠能活下來。」

黃阿幸說，仙楂腳山野荒郊，近年常見遭棄養狗隻，社區能夠接納收容的個體數很有限，因為整個聚落常住人口還不到100人；希望養狗的人確實負起責任，任意棄養寵物，對丟棄地點附近居民，將造成莫大困擾。

至於這隻狗的傷勢，乍看似是誤中獸夾，但仔細思考應該是被惡意虐待的可能性較高。原因是單邊雙腿同時中夾的機會不高，且後腿斷骨位置，超過獸夾傷害的高度。如此殘虐寵物，真的是人神共憤。
