國道五號雪山隧道30日中午因為發生有鳥類誤闖，並在隧道內「逛大街」，導致雪隧北上外側車道緊急封閉28分鐘，直到雪隧事故小組人員進入隧道將鳥「當場逮捕」並帶至隧道外放生，這才解除這起「鳥事」，而這也是雪山隧道自通車以來，首次因為有鳥類誤闖雪隧導致車道緊急封閉的狀況。
