斯里蘭卡在復活節當日發生8起連環爆炸，官方今天表示，死亡人數上升至290人，受傷人數約500人，官方已逮捕24名相關涉案人士，並且解除宵禁，不過美國國務院警告，恐怖分子仍持續在斯國作亂，未來可能針對觀光景點、交通要塞等公共場所進行攻擊。

路透社報導，21日復活節，以佛教為主的南亞小國斯里蘭卡發生連續8起重大爆炸，包括3間教堂、4間飯店都受到襲擊，官方當日公布死亡人數為207人，傷者超過450人，不過今天再上修傷亡人數，死亡人數攀升至290人，傷者約500人。

斯里蘭卡爆炸案十天前曾有警告

儘管目前尚未有任何組織宣稱犯案，不過美國有線電視新聞網（CNN）引述自警方發言人古納塞克拉（Ruwan Gunasekera），指出斯里蘭卡警方至今已逮捕24名相關涉案人士，警方稍早稱已有13人遭逮。當局今天上午也已解除宵禁。

路透報導，美國國務院在當地時間周日晚間也發布一份修正版旅遊建議，指出在連環爆炸案發生後，「恐怖分子」仍持續進行活動，後續可能挑選「觀光景點、交通要塞、購物中心、飯店、禮拜教堂、機場，或是其他公共場合進行攻擊。」

斯里蘭卡總統席瑞塞納（Maithripala Sirisena）今天上午已召開國家安全會議。當局擔心連串爆炸事件會引發不同族群間的暴力衝突，周日下午已關閉包括臉書、WhatsApp在內等主要社群媒體及簡訊通訊，不過警方表示當天稍晚在其他城市仍發生清真寺遭汽油彈攻擊、穆斯林經營的商店遭暴力份子放火焚燒事件。

斯里蘭卡過去曾有段相當黑暗的歷史，長達26年陷入與分離主義組織「泰米爾之虎」（Tamil Tigers）的內戰，造成數十萬人傷亡，2009年內戰結束，族群衝突轉化為信仰衝突，佛教徒與穆斯林經常捲入暴力事件當中，作為僅佔斯國總人口7.6%的基督徒也常成為攻擊目標，斯里蘭卡全國福音派基督徒聯盟（National Christian Evangelical Alliance of Sri Lanka，NCEASL）指出，2018年斯國共發生86起基督徒遭歧視、威脅、暴力攻擊案件，今年以來也已發生26起。
