總統蔡英文面臨內憂外患，如今更傳挺賴台獨大老、前總統府資政吳澧培不留情面，直接對挺蔡綠委管碧玲開嗆，引發熱議。也顯見除了「韓流」，黨內茶壺風暴可能更讓蔡焦頭爛額，連任之路困難重重。

據《新頭殼》報導，民進黨上周舉行中常會，傳民進黨立院黨團幹事長管碧玲為蔡英文憂心：「她是否可以接受這樣的羞辱？會不會把這當成一種羞辱，可以接受這樣結果嗎？」吳澧培則直接開嗆：「這是什麼樣的想法讓她講這種話？」

吳澧培表示，民主政治本來就是用選票來決定勝敗，勝選者有兌現政見義務、敗選者有風度接受結果並予以支持，這才是基本民主概念。並表示，若管碧玲所言是蔡英文意思，那代表蔡完全沒民主概念；若是管自己的意思，那則是他自己沒民主概念，也害了蔡。

至於民進黨251位黨員連署「支持蔡賴配，一起顧台灣」，吳澧培也痛批這是強迫式的蔡賴配。吳認為，真正的團結是走完初選程序，在公平競爭下分出勝敗，勝與敗者相互支持、尊重，這才叫團結。

吳澧培更將砲口對內，砲轟：「沒理由現在就貼標籤，說你不接受蔡賴配就是分裂、不團結」、「台灣解嚴30年，還在用封建時代、集權時代的思考，真是令人嘆為觀止」。
