冰淇淋界的「勞斯萊斯」，知名冰淇淋品牌哈根達斯，幾年前人氣超高，只要超商推出特價，或是吃到飽店家有提供該品牌冰淇淋，容易吸引許多愛好者，而且單價偏高，所以只要打上哈根達斯的名號，似乎無往不利，但不知道從什麼時候開始，魅力已經不如以往？

哈根達斯進軍全球，打著高端冰淇淋的風格，不僅店家開在精華地區，裝潢也是很講究，就是要給消費者奢華的感覺。冰淇淋則是主打不加防腐劑，尤其剛推出最令人驚豔的，就是各種口味都吃的到「原料」，當然這些原料也是從世界各地進口，價格相對偏高。

現代消費者吃東西越來越挑，為什麼主打高端的哈根達斯突然賣不動？其中一個原因是，同樣來自美國的Dairy Queen(冰雪皇后)，在全球開店模式不同於哈根達斯，當然主要城市一定會有店面，也陸續在非一線城市展店，消費人群更加廣泛；而產品價格，相比單價偏高的哈根達斯，Dairy Queen無論是價格還是可選擇產品都多出許多，其中「暴風雪」作為明星產品更是深受股神巴菲特的喜愛。

不只面臨同樣來自美國同業的壓力，許多新興茶飲店興起，也是原因之一；再來自身品牌定位，哈根達斯在美國並非高端甜點，隨處都可以買到而且價格親民，除了美國以外的地方都是高單價，心理感受落差大，久了消費者自然不會買單；口味跟包裝似乎創造不出新鮮感，導致消費者開始遺忘這品牌，最後印象的可能僅停留在「很貴」，當然還有其他因素導致，看來哈根達斯要重回地位，需要跟上消費者的腳步。
