桃園市議員王浩宇再打韓國瑜，PO照片酸高雄新堀江商圈「周末下午空蕩蕩」，對此，新堀江商店街永續發展協會總幹事楊翔茗抨擊，拿玉竹商圈即將改建的「原宿廣場」空店面，代表整個新堀江商圈，根本是蓄意抹黑、張冠李戴、行為惡劣。
「身為民意代表卻帶頭栽贓抹黑，發布不實言論，根本是敗壞社會風氣！」北漂媽媽潘金英痛批王浩宇指鹿為馬，民進黨竟然還有臉說要打假新聞？
潘金英強調，她今年初才接受電視台邀請，前往新堀江拍攝美食宣傳影片，當時都是人潮，走路人擠人，哪來「人氣衰敗」之說？要王浩宇不要逢韓必打。
新堀江商店街永續發展協會總幹事楊翔茗直言，王浩宇的發文不是沒常識，就是蓄意抹黑。原宿廣場與新堀江商圈分屬不同商圈，經營團隊也不同，早在陳菊執政時代便因為經營不善開始沒落，預計2019年10月改建，商家當然陸續退租出走，「這現象只要是高雄在地人都知道！」
「南部商家有三窮、四絕、五上吊的淡季戲稱」，楊表示，高雄氣候沒有春秋2季，服飾業多半只賣夏、冬裝，今年暖冬更讓服飾業者叫苦連天，幸好2月韓流帶來人流，讓新堀江商家整體業績維持正負5個百分點，否則原本估淡季營收會衰退2至3成。
針對王浩宇酸韓人型立牌讓年輕人反感，進而影響人潮一事，楊也強調，確實有接獲反彈的意見，但他天天在路口觀察，跟立牌拍照、打卡的遊客更多，說因此影響商圈人氣也太過牽強。
「再怎麼沒落，這裡還是高雄年輕人聚集的聖地！」楊表示，不像台北西門町遊客絡繹不絕，高雄新堀江一直自立求生，保護街頭消費文化，守住年輕人的流行聖地，歡迎大家親自走一趟。
